How to add countdown timer

For those moment you want to convey some sense of urgency and get your viewers taking action, you can add countdown timers.

From the drag and drop video funnel builder, click on the Add Interactive Element button on the video you want to edit. This will load the video into the drag and drop interactive video builder and timeline editor.

Click on the Countdown Timer interactivity item by the left menu to add it to the video

Drag the countdown timer to any position on the video where you want viewers to see it.

And use the Layer Duration settings by the right to set the display start time and end time, or simply drag the interactivity item bar on the timeline editor to the time on the video when you want to show the timer. Drag the end of the interactivity item bar to increase or decrease the display time.

Standard countdown timer and Evergreen countdown timer

Select Standard Timer from the dropdown selection under Timer Type

Then set the end date and time, and select a time zone.

Edit the label for the days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Choose Evergreen Timer from the dropdown selection under the Timer Type

Then set the duration time in seconds

Edit the label for the days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Choose a countdown timer display style from the list of style options

Optional, toggle the pause video switch to pause the video when the timer appears

And edit/customize the colors for the different parts of the countdown timer

Once done, click on the Save button.

Click on the Preview button to preview your interactivity and customizations to make sure everything works as setup.

Once you are done adding all desired interactivity to the video, click on the Continue button to return to the video funnel builder page from where you can continue to publish your campaign.
