How to add hotspots interactivity

Allow viewers to touch objects in your video with hotspots. Customize different kinds of hotspots to achieve different goals.

Follow these steps to add hotspot interactivity to your videos

From the drag and drop video funnel builder, click on the Add Interactive Element button on the video you want to edit. This will load the video into the drag and drop interactive video builder and timeline editor.

Click on Hotspots from the list of interactivity items by the left menu. And by the right panel, you will see the 8 kinds of hotspots you can add.

You can add 8 different kinds of Hotspots to any video including; Custom Hotspot, Invisible Hotspot, Label Hotspot, Plus Hotspot, Pulse Hotspot, Circle Hotspot, Hello Hotspot and Bounding Box Hotspot

Custom Hotspot allows you to use your own or any custom image to define the "hotspot" clickable area in your video. You can upload an image from your device, enter the image url or search and use from the integrated media asset options.

Invisible Hotspot will make the area of the video it covers clickable without using any image or text. For instance, if you are working on an ecommerce video showing your inventory, you can add Invisible Hotspots on the inventory and simply ask viewers to click on any inventory they like to purchase or to see more details, etc.

Label Hotspot uses labels to add hotspots at any point in your video. You can easily label objects that are shown in the video and add hotspots to them to make them touchable/clickable by viewers.

Plus Hotspot adds an animated Plus symbol with a round background in your video. When customized, this is a way to perfectly add a well blended animated hotspot on any item or objects in your video allowing viewers to click on them.

Pulse Hotspot is an animated radiating hotspot. It pulses from the center outwards, and signals the viewer to click or touch the pulse point. It is a perfect way to add hotspots to objects and items in the video making them touchable/clickable.

Circle Hotspot is an animated glowing circle that is designed to attract the attention of viewers to any item or object in the video it is added to.

Hello Hotspot uses a callout box with a tooltip to add a hotspot and also direct viewers where the hotspot is referring to. It is a nice way to point to any item, object or place in the video and add further actions to it.

Bounding Box Hotspot is a square shaped box which you can add to any area on your video to make the spot clickable. You can drag the edges of the box to increase or decrease it in size/coverage area.

Customizing a hotspot

Click on the hotspot type you want from the right panel.

Drag it to the right place in the video where you want the hotspot. You can click hold and drag on the edges of the hotspot to increase or decrease its coverage area/size

Under the Layer Duration settings, set the display start and end times. Or just drag the interactivity item bar on the timeline editor to the exact time and drag the ends to extend or reduce the display time.

The Link To Funnel Video Action

Once done, click on the Save button.
