How to connect a parent video to a branch video in the interactivity builder

After adding and linking branching videos in the video funnel builder, you have to connect them together in the interactivity builder with interactive items.

This is the processes of using interactive items like text, buttons, objects, images, etc, to link to branching videos such that when viewers click on those connecting interactivity items, the branch video will load and play.

You must have at least one branch video linked to a parent video in the video funnel builder.

From the drag and drop video funnel builder, click on the Add Interactive Element button on the parent video you want to edit. This will load the video into the drag and drop interactive video builder and timeline editor.

From the list of interactivity items by the left menu panel, choose and click on any of the 5 interactivity items that have the Assign Video settings

They include:

Text

Image

Button

Hotspot

Objects

Any of these 6 interactivity items can be used to connect parent videos to branch videos.

Use the customization settings by the right panel to edit the added interactivity item.

Drag the item to any position in the video where you want it to appear.

Use the Layer Duration setting by the right settings panel to set the display start time and end time. Or you can just drag the interactivity item bar on the timeline editor to the time on the video you want it to appear. Drag the ends of the bar on the timeline editor to increase or decrease the display time/duration.

Toggle on the switch under Assign Video

Give the connection a title (this is used internally for tracking purposes)

Then select the branch video to connect to through this interactivity item from the dropdown list.

The list will only show you funnel videos that are directly linked together to the parent video you are editing in the video funnel builder page.

If the video you want to connect to is in the video funnel but not visible in the dropdown list, make sure it is directly linked to the video you are editing.

Once done, click on the Save button.

Click on the Preview button to preview your interactivity and customizations to make sure everything works as setup.

Once you are done adding all desired interactivity to the video, click on the Continue button to return to the video funnel builder page from where you can continue to publish your campaign.
